Weather warnings are live

Weather warnings from the Met Office National Severe Weather Warning Service are now live on the site.

Active warnings for Curbar are indicated by a clickable icon at the top of the screen, adjacent to the current forecast/temperature. If there are several warnings in force (today has both a yellow and amber warning of snow) the icon of the most severe warning is shown. Today this is amber.

Clicking on the icon shows all the current local warnings and picking from the list will show the details from the Met Office including a map.

In the sidebar/endbar are links to all national warnings and further details of the Curbar warnings. There is also a new top-level menu item 'Warnings' if you wish to explore further, including a link to the Met Office warnings page.

All just in time for today's snow warning!
