Sensor(y) deprivation

The station has been down (or erratic) since Monday with a sensor problem. This follows several months of interrupted service.
The BME280 sensors, which I prefer, do tend to become erratic after a year or so in the great outdoors. The humidity readings 'stick' high, then the sensor starts missing readings all together.
The humidity problem can be fixed by bringing the sensor in for a few days and placing it near a radiator. But generally by this stage, it's best to replace the sensor.
Various breakout boards are available including the Adafruit one. Steer clear of the super-cheap eBay ones as I've had some very poorly callibrated examples.
I tend to just buy what is available at around the £10 mark. This time it is the Waveshare BME280.
Fingers crossed, but we are back up and running.
